An Oshkosh man is now facing homicide charges after a suspicious death in Neenah from November of last year.
Neenah Police report that they were called to the 200 block of Doty Avenue at 8:40 am for a welfare check on a man now known as 73-year-old Kieth Rieskamp.
He was taken to a nearby hospital but was later pronounced dead. 53-year-old Rondey Franklin has now been charged with 1st-degree intentional homicide in Rieskamp’s death after an examination from the Wisconsin State Crime Lab.
He has been in jail on a charge of theft from a corpse.
Franklin now remains in custody on a $500,000 cash bond.
He’s to have no contact with multiple people or be allowed to have controlled substances or drug paraphernalia without a valid prescription.
His next court date is set for June 9th for a preliminary hearing.
