For the second time this week, the Mishicot baseball team upset Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah.
Pitcher Nolan Sand had an outing to remember, allowing just two hits while striking out 12 batters en route to a 3-0 win for the Indians.
Sand helped his own cause at the plate as well, notching a pair of hits, each of which resulted in him crossing home plate, while Seth Rauber also had two hits, and accounted for the Indians’ other run.
Jax Vogel and Christian Henning were the only other Mishicot batters to get hits, as the team improves to 8-13 and 6-4 in the Big East North, good for 2nd place.
The Resorters fall to 11-7, and 4-6 in conference play, dropping them to 4th place.
Mishicot will close out the regular season next Tuesday as they host Sturgeon Bay, while Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah will try to end a two-game skid and end the regular season on a high note as they travel to Howards Grove the same day.
