The four candidates will be in Two Rivers next Thursday and Friday (May 29th, 30th) to learn more about the city, which includes tours, and a community meet and greet from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the J.E Hamilton Community House gym.
The contenders will then meet with Two Rivers department heads, complete a writing exercise, and be interviewed by the full city council.
The council is hoping to reach a consensus to find the top candidate for the position and to authorize Public Administration Associates to negotiate terms for employment on the city’s behalf.
The new city manager could be approved by the first meeting of June.
Current City Manager Greg Buckley anticipates retiring on August 8th following thirty years of service in the Cool City.
