A former swim instructor is facing a retrial in Dane County on charges of sexually assaulting two former students.
James Meicher, 71, was previously tried in 2023, but the case ended in a mistrial after jurors failed to reach a verdict.
He is back in court after declining a plea deal from prosecutors.
