A Campbellsport woman has been arrested for operating while under the influence with a child in the vehicle.
On Tuesday (May 20th) at approximately 11:30 p.m., the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office was attempting to locate a vehicle driven by an individual who had a suspended driver’s license.
Shortly after, a Trooper with the Wisconsin State Patrol located the vehicle in question on State Highway 67 near State Highway 45 and conducted a traffic stop.
During the stop, the driver, 35-year-old April Sonnenburg, showed signs of impairment, and a field sobriety test was conducted, which she failed.
Sonnenburg was subsequently arrested and charged with OWI with a passenger under the age of 16, her 3rd such offense.
The incident remains under investigation, pending the results of a blood draw.
