An incident at UW-Platteville has left two students dead in what authorities describe as a suspected murder-suicide.
Kelsie Martin and Hallie Helms, both 22 and recent graduates, were discovered with gunshot wounds in a campus residence hall on Monday afternoon.
Martin was airlifted to UW Hospital but did not survive.
Helms was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are still working to determine the circumstances that led to the shooting.
The university is offering counseling resources to students affected by the loss.
