A historic home in Sheboygan County is preparing to open for the season.
The Wade House in Greenbush will open this Saturday (May 24th) with new events planned for 2025.
The house allows visitors to tour the inn, explore Wisconsin’s largest carriage museum, watch a blacksmith at work, and see a water-powered sawmill.
Site Director Bridgitt Zielke says this year focuses on the first stagecoach on site.
The Wade House hosts several events, including Stagecoach Saturdays, Goat Yoga, and Carriage Driving Days.
The historic site tells the story of frontier entrepreneur Sylvanus Wade and his family during the 1850s and 1860s.
General admission costs $15 for adults and teens, $13 for seniors, $8 for children 8-12, and children under five get in for free.
