Another new staff member is coming to the Manitowoc Public School District.
Nathan Mielke has been selected as the district’s new director of business services.
Mielke is a Kewaunee native currently serving as the Director of Technology for Marquette University High School and has more than 20 years of experience in information technology, including 11 years as technology director at Hartford Union High School and MU High School.
Mielke also served in technology roles in Sheboygan and Ozaukee Counties.
He says he was “particularly drawn to this opportunity because of my passion for education and commitment to fostering fiscal responsibility while enhancing student outcomes.”
Like other new employees, he will join the school district on July 1st, pending approval of the Manitowoc Public School Board.
The district also announced the hiring of a new human resources director and a new principal at Washington Middle School.
