There are three meetings scheduled for today (May 21st) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Board of Public Works will be in the Council Chambers at 4:00 p.m., where they will look over change orders, pay estimates for various engineering and public works projects, and contractor’s payroll affidavit.
At the same time, the Community Development Authority will be in the 2nd Floor Conference Room in City Hall, where they will hold a public hearing on the five-year capital action plan.
They will then enter a closed session to discuss compensation for employees at Manitou Manor before looking over the financial reports and 2026 budget for the Public Housing Business.
The group will also review design applications for a pair of projects and will get the latest on the River Point District, Lakeshore Mall, and former Mirro property projects.
Also at 4:00 p.m., the Transit Commission will gather in the 1st Floor Conference Room, where they will hear input from the public.
They will also discuss staffing and route service updates before adjourning for the evening.
