Cellcom is making some progress in restoring services to customers.
An announcement from the company yesterday (May 19th) explains that SMS texting and Cellcom-to-Cellcom voice calls have been restored.
However, calls to non-Cellcom phones appear to not be working as that wasn’t mentioned in the cell phone company’s announcement.
Calls to 911, RCS texts, internet, and other calling apps are still working as they had before.
According to Cellcom, they are “on the five-yard line” as they make gains every day.
Issues began last Friday (May 16th) with the cell service provider saying that customers weren’t able to make calls or send text messages.
The cause has not been revealed.
