Many local Sheboygan organizations are coming together to help those in need.
The Street Angels of Milwaukee will bring the Showers of Hope to Sheboygan on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., helping ensure that anyone experiencing homelessness, lacking access to showers, or struggling with utility bills can have access to a shower.
The mobile shower trailer will be located at St. Luke United Methodist Church, the site of the Sheboygan County Warming Center.
In addition to free, accessible showers, Jomaji Salon and Spa will be giving free haircuts and lunch will be served by the Sheboygan County Food Bank’s Community Café, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
In partnership with the Kohler Company, the Street Angels have provided hundreds of showers to those in Milwaukee and across Wisconsin.
Offering a service such as accessible showers goes past simply hygiene but improves health, connection, dignity, and a sense of community.
The Sheboygan County Warming Center is located at 623 Ontario Avenue.
