A North Dakota man has been sentenced to spend decades in prison for sex crimes against a Green Bay teenager.
It was announced last week by Richard G. Frohling, Acting United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, that 43-year-old Kelly J Rosemore was sentenced to spend 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to Child Enticement and committing a felony sex offense against a minor as a registered sex offender.
Rosemore, who was previously convicted of sex crimes against children in North Dakota, met a 14-year-old girl from Green Bay online.
The 43-year-old then proceeded to groom the child for months before traveling to Wisconsin on two separate occasions.
When in Green Bay in March and April of 2024, Rosemore got a hotel room and sexually assaulted the 14-year-old, which included violent acts, restricting her breathing, and restraining her.
The child then reported the crimes to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office then reached out to the North Dakota Bureau of Investigation, which arrested and extradited Rosemore to Wisconsin.
At his sentencing hearing, Judge William C. Griesbach noted that the suspect “had again targeted a child, whom he repeatedly and cruelly sexually assaulted.”
This case was investigated by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
