
The Mishicot Indians have built up another great regular season resume.
The Indians captured their seventh consecutive Big East North Division championship last week and earned the top seed in their Division Four bracket of The WIAA Softball Tournament that begins on Thursday. Mishicot has a first-round bye and will host the winner of Howards Grove and Manitowoc Lutheran on Tuesday, May 27th. The Tigers and Lancers will play on Thursday afternoon at Lancer Circle.
Also, on Thursday, Gibraltar/ Washington Island visits St. Mary Catholic, with the winner to play at two-seed Algoma on May 27th, and Ozaukee is in Jackson to play Living Word Lutheran. Other games on May 27th have Roncalli playing at Sevastopol, Reedsville traveling to Fond Du Lac to play St. Mary Springs, and Random Lake hosting Cambridge.
In Division Three, Kiel opens at home against Sturgeon Bay, with the winner visiting top-seed Brillion on May 27th. Wrightstown hosts Sheboygan Lutheran/ Christian, with Valders hosting the winner on May 27th. Cedar Grove Belgium travels to Oostburg, and the winner draws top-seed Shoreland Lutheran on May 27th, North Fond Du Lac hosts Omro, with Laconia hosting the winner next Tuesday, and Winnebago Lutheran Academy of Fond Du Lac hosts Ripon at Marian University with top-seed Lomira awaiting the winner May 27th. Other games on May 27th have Kewaunee traveling to New Holstein and Southern Door entertaining Chilton
Division Two games on Thursday, May 22nd, have Sheboygan South traveling to Grafton, with Kewaskum hosting the winner on May 27th. Sheboygan Falls/ Kohler is at Berlin with the winner headed to top-seed Waupun next Tuesday. Notre Dame of Green Bay hosts Little Chute with the winner advancing to play at Luxemburg Casco on May 27th, and Oconto Falls entertains Marinette with top-seed Fox Valley Lutheran to host the winner on May 27th. Other games on May 27th have Two Rivers visiting Denmark, Plymouth is home for Port Washington, Seymour travels to Winneconne and Kettle Moraine hosts Campbellsport.
There are three games of area interest in Division Five, all to be played on May 27th. Hilbert hosts Palmyra-Eagle, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah travels Princeton-Green Lake and Green Bay NEW Lutheran/ Providence Academy is home for Marion. The Division One bracket is due out later this week.
