
The results are in from the EWC Championship Track and Field Meet.
Eight schools converged on Brillion Middle School, where the Kiel girls and Sheboygan Falls boys each earned team gold. The Raiders boys finished second, followed by Valders, Brillion, Two Rivers, Roncalli, Chilton, and New Holstein, while Two Rivers was second in the girls competition, followed by Chilton, Valders, Sheboygan Falls, Brillion, New Holstein, and Roncalli.
The Raider boys were led by Harrison Zorn and Alder Curry, who won the 200 and 400-meter dash events, while Mason Schaefer, Bryce Gullixon, Harrison Zorn, and Emerson Sitzman claimed the 4×200 relay.
Valders also earned gold in three events, with Gunnar Romuald and Sam Keller taking the 800 and 3200-meter runs and William Sieracki, Hazen Libby, Isaac Mangin, and Gunnar Romuald winning the 4×400 relay.
Roncalli’s Xavier Kauth won the 110 and 300-meter hurdles, while Dominic Thiele was the top finisher in the 1600-meter race.
Two Rivers’ Christian Pyles earned the shot put gold medal, while Kaden Kakes had the best pole vault.
The Kiel girls had five first-place finishes, with Maddison McDole leading the way.
She claimed the 200 and 400-meter dash events and the high jump, while teammates Maryssa Fintelmann, Chelsea Schmidt, Mya Rothe, and Aubrie Fromm won the 4×200-meter relay, and Addison Vogel, Hailey Helms, Evalyn Schafer, and Lily Larson claimed the 4×800 meter relay.
Two Rivers also fared well, with Allie Gallagher finishing first in the 800-meter run, Breanne Kulpa claiming the 3200, and the squad of Sophia Soukup, Brooklyn Kieselhorst, Breanne Kulpa, and Allie Gallagher winning the 4×400 relay.
Valders’ lone event winner was Hannah Welch, who won the 1600-meter run.
