The search is ongoing for a missing boater after a catamaran carrying four people capsized Friday evening on Lake Monona.
According to officials, one person swam to shore safely while two others were rescued by the Madison Fire Department.
The fourth person, who wasn’t wearing a life jacket, remains unaccounted for.
A kayak that had been tied to the catamaran was recovered Saturday near Tonyawatha Drive.
Search teams are using sonar and underwater drones to aid the effort.
Authorities are asking boaters to avoid restricted areas on the lake and to contact the Dane County Sheriff’s Office with any relevant information.
