
Several high school baseball teams will play two games on Saturday. Doubleheaders include Denmark at Freedom, Stevens Point hosting De Pere, Green Bay East/West visiting New London, Luxemburg Casco entertaining Little Chute, Wrightstown welcoming Waupaca, Ashwaubenon playing Neenah, and Slinger at Neenah.
Single games have West De Pere at Shawano, Pulaski hosting Kaukauna, Algoma entertaining Peshtigo, and Clintonville heading up to Gibraltar/ Washington Island.
In high school softball, Roncalli hosts several area schools in “The Roncalli Outing” at Citizens Park beginning at 9 a.m.
Elsewhere, Manitowoc Lincoln plays a doubleheader at Bayport. Other FRCC twin bills include De Pere at Notre Dame, and Green Bay Preble hosts Sheboygan North.
Plymouth hosts its “Wall of Fame” Tournament, with Cedar Grove-Belgium and New Holstein included in the field. Sheboygan Falls/ Kohler heads to Omro, and Southern Door has a long bus ride to Appleton North to play The Lightning.
In girls’ soccer, Manitowoc Lincoln is at the Kiel Invitational, Roncalli/Two Rivers plays Howards Grove in The Omro Invite, Kohler and Green Bay Preble are in the field of The Wrightstown Invitational, state-ranked Plymouth hosts Oshkosh West, Green Bay East visits Pulaski, Bayport hosts Appleton West and Seymour and Winneconne participate in the Hortonville Invitational.
There are two semi-pro football games on Saturday night. The Manitowoc County Mariners travel to Winneconne to meet the Fox River Raiders at 6 p.m., and the Sheboygan County SaberCats host the Brown County Blackjacks at Lakeland University. The kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
