A Manitowoc man has been arrested after being found in possession of child pornography and a “fantasy log”.
Manitowoc Police begin investigating the 27-year-old man after receiving a cyber-tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children referencing a Google account involved in transmitting child sexual assault material.
A total of 137 files depicting prepubescent minors engaged in sexual acts and lascivious exhibition were noted in the report.
The account was linked to the man who resides in the 900 block of Raton Court, and a search warrant was obtained to review the actions taken by the account.
10 videos were located in his Google Drive, and 119 URL addresses were found that led to other child sexual assault material.
A search warrant for the man’s home was executed Wednesday, where six rifles and a handgun were located and which were “not secured in any way”.
Due to a criminal history in Illinois, the suspect was not supposed to be in possession of any weapons.
A journal was also located, which the suspect called his “Fantasy Log” which included non-consensual sex with teens and pre-teens.
The man was arrested on charges of being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm and ten counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
