
Several boys’ track and field records were reset over the last several days at Manitowoc Lutheran High School.
Head Coach Abby Bubolz tells Seehafer news com that Gabriel Stuebs broke his own school record in the 400-meter dash for a third time.
He ran the race in 49 and 96 hundredths seconds at The Arrowhead Myrhum Invite on May 10th in Hartland.
At the same meet, Jacob Kanzenbach set a school record in the 800-meter run in a time of 1 minute 58 and 73 hundredths seconds.
Meanwhile, the Lancers 4 by 400-meter relay team of Stuebs, Kanzenbach, Isiah Muchka, and Roman DiMarco smashed the previous record set back in 1983 by nearly five-and-a-half seconds, running the race in 3 minutes 27 and 32 hundredths seconds at The Manitowoc County Invite Tuesday night in Kiel.
Gabriel Stuebs now holds the school record in the 100, 200, and 400-meter dash and is a member of the school record 4 by 400-meter relay team.
Jacob Kanzenbach is also a member of the Lancer school record 4 by 800 and 4 by 400-meter relay teams.
The Lancers return to action Monday at the Big East Conference meet at Cedar Grove-Belgium.
