A motion to dismiss has been filed in the federal case against Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan.
Dugan, indicted this week by a federal grand jury, is accused of helping an undocumented immigrant avoid Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents by escorting him out of the courtroom.
Her attorney argues the charges are both unconstitutional and without precedent, claiming she should be protected under judicial immunity.
