A local monastery is looking for help replacing its windows.
A GoFundMe page has been set up by the Holy Resurrection Monastery in St. Nazianz to replace over 140 aging windows with modern, energy-efficient ones.
According to the monastery, the building has held up well over time, but the old windows have become decrepit, and it’s getting harder to pay for gas and electricity each quarter.
The window replacement would fit their overall plan to take steps towards sustainability and environmental stewardship, which aligns with the core values and commitment to preserving the planet for future generations.
Holy Resurrection wants to raise $150,000, with $23,515 raised so far.
A contractor for the project has already been selected.
