A person was seriously injured in a crash in Manitowoc County earlier this morning (May 14th).
Valders Fire and Rescue, the St. Nazianz Fire Department, and the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office were called just after 9:00 am to Highway 151 and Highway 67 for a two vehicle accident with injuries.
A lone occupant in a red sedan was trapped in their vehicle with life-threatening injuries.
Crews were able to stabilize the person before they were flown to a trauma center for treatment.
Emergency crews didn’t mention which trauma center the person was taken to or what kind of person they were.
Manitowoc County emergency crews also got help from the Calumet County Sheriff’s Office and ThedaStar Air Medical.
