A contestant on American Idol is being cheered on by a Manitowoc bar.
Singer/Songwriter Thunderstorm Artis brought his musical talents to Waterfront Wine Bar back in 2019 and performed a pop-up set after Acoustic Fest in Washington Park was rained out.
Artis was born on the North Shore of Oahu and learned to play piano, guitar, harp, and percussion at a very young age.
He’s currently on a solo tour but has played with the likes of Jack Johnson, Mick Fleetwood, Booker T, and opened recent tours with artists G Love and Mike Love.
Waterfront Wine Bar was only open for 2 months when Artis came and performed.
According to the bar, he left a lasting impression on everyone in the room.
The next episode of American Idol premieres this Sunday.
