Motorists around the state, including Northeastern Wisconsin, are paying less at the pump this week.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, Manitowoc County has seen prices at the pump drop a penny to $2.88 over the past week, while Sheboygan County saw the biggest drop in our area, falling six cents to $2.89.
The next biggest drop in gas prices came in Calumet County, where prices now sit at $2.87, a four-cent dip since last week.
Gas in Brown County is down three cents to $2.88 while Door County motorists saw a two-cent drop to $2.96, the highest average price in our area.
Outagamie County joins Manitowoc County with prices dropping a penny to $2.85, which is also the lowest average price for any of the seven counties that SeehaferNews.com tracks.
The lone county in our area to see no change in prices this week is Kewaunee County, where fuel prices remain unchanged at $2.94.
These decreases in our area fall in line with a statewide trend, as Wisconsin’s average price for a gallon of regular, unleaded fuel is down one cent to $2.91.
However, other states across the country have not been as fortunate as the national average for a gallon of fuel went up by one cent over the past week and now sits at $3.16.
