A conditional use permit (CUP) and a site plan review are on the docket for Sheboygan’s City Plan Commission.
The Plan Commission will meet today (May 13th) and will begin the meeting by giving the public time to comment regarding a CUP.
This CUP has been submitted by Apollo Imaging to construct an electronic sign at 2206 North 15th Street.
This location, previously vacant or underutilized, has been approved as the site for a new gas station and convenience store, and the CUP is requesting to construct a 10×6 sign to display gas prices.
Also on the docket is a site plan review submitted by Gerald Poet with Wisconsin Public Service (WPS).
WPS is looking to build a new natural gas regulator station at 2733 Calumet Drive on the City’s north side.
WPS has said that building the new station above ground, as opposed to the current underground utility vaults, will reduce maintenance costs and improve the reliability of the station.
The only other item up for discussion at today’s Plan Commission meeting will be a proposal for renovations for an office building located at 1717 Cambridge Avenue.
This is the only governmental meeting scheduled for today in the City of Sheboygan.
