There is a meeting in the City of Manitowoc today (May 13th).
The Manitowoc Public Utilities Commission will meet at their office on 8th Street at 10:30 am.
After the group looks over their regular reports, they will approve their corporate key performance indicators and electric rate case before going into a closed session to talk about the Manitowoc Refuel Renewable Project.
They will reconvene in an open session before getting a general manager’s report and adjourning for the day.
The Refuel Renewable Project is trying to allow MPU to move on from burning fossil fuels like coal to burning 100% Wisconsin-recognized renewable fuel pellets for power.
