A man charged with attempted homicide in Manitowoc will be going to trial.
According to court documents, Manitowoc County Judge Mark Rohrer set the trial for 61-year-old Clarence Holder Jr. to begin on October 21st.
Holder Jr. faces charges of attempted 1st-degree intentional homicide after pointing a gun at a victim at the Viebahn Street Apartments last year and asking for his “stuff.”
The victim got out of the apartment but was shot while trying to get away.
According to a criminal complaint, Holder posed as a delivery driver to try and get inside the apartment.
Another man facing charges in the case is still waiting to be arraigned.
41-year-old Oscar Rodriguez faces charges of conspiracy to commit an armed robbery because of his involvement with Holder.
Holder’s partner was also facing charges in the case, but they have since been dismissed.
