It was a big night for the Kiel girls’ soccer team in more ways than one.
Not only did the Raiders defeat Notre Dame 10-2, but Head Coach Mike Pritchard says it was a turning point in the season where the team finally came together as one unit and played all aspects of the match well.
Taavi Seager led the team with five goals, while Deanna Schwaller had two.
Jasmine Bink, Ava Furhman, and Harper Walsdorf each scored one goal.
Senior Captains Addie Uselding and Ava Neils led the defense.
Kiel improves to 10-3-1 overall and is still in 1st place in the EWC, just ahead of Sheboygan Falls.
Their next match is Thursday (May 15th) against New Holstein before they host an invite with three matches scheduled.
