A road in Manitowoc will be closed this week for construction work.
Manitowoc Engineering Division Manager Greg Minikel tells SeehaferNews.com that, beginning today (May 12th), South 21st Street will be closed to northbound traffic only from Washington Street to Franklin Street.
This portion of South 21st Street is being closed to allow crews to replace a water service line at the intersection of Washington Street.
The work will also cause the eastbound left turn lane of Washington Street to close as well.
A detour will be in place for northbound traffic on South 21st Street, which will be South 26th Street northbound to eastbound Franklin Street, back onto 21st Street.
Minikel has also stated that this work is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Friday (May 16th), weather permitting.
