After closing for the season on May 1st, the Sheboygan County Warming Center has announced a change in leadership.
The Warming Center has announced that Liz Kroll has been named the organization’s first-ever executive director.
In this new role, Kroll will bring compassionate leadership, valuable experience, and a strong dedication to the warming center’s mission.
On her new position, Kroll said, “I’m truly honored to accept the role of Executive Director at the Sheboygan County Warming Center. This mission means a great deal to me, and I’m excited to step into this position with heart, commitment, and deep respect for the work that’s already being done.”
Kroll is already well-known and highly respected in the community thanks to her nearly 15 years of work with the Sheboygan County Food Bank, serving as the Senior Director of Programs and Community Impact.
In her time at the food bank, Kroll helped lay the foundation for the organization that works to end hunger in the Sheboygan community.
Kroll positively impacted thousands while with the food bank and will continue to help some of the most vulnerable individuals in Sheboygan as she embarks on this new journey as the Executive Director of the Sheboygan County Warming Center.
