The former Sheboygan Falls Assistant Fire Chief facing a child sexual assault charge is set to return to court.
45-year-old John P. Albright will be inside a Sheboygan County courtroom today (May 12th) at 4:30 p.m. for a status conference as he has been charged with one felony count of Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child.
This status conference was rescheduled last month by Judge Rebecca Persick after complications were discovered relating to a witness interview that was being used as evidence in the case.
When first announced by the Sheboygan Falls Fire Department in September, it was announced that the 45-year-old was under investigation for allegedly sexually assaulting a child under the age of 16.
However, Albright has pled not guilty to the lone charge he faces and has been out on bond since furnishing the $25,000 cash back in December of last year.
