A new video series produced by the Wisconsin Local Food Purchase Assistance (WI LFPA) Program tells the story of two years of impactful food access work.

Since 2023, the WI LFPA Program has delivered $4.23 million in fresh, nutritious food grown by Wisconsin farmers to all 72 counties and Tribal Nations in the state.
The WI LFPA Program, funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Marketing Service (USDA AMS), was established in 2022 to strengthen food and agricultural supply chain resiliency, support Wisconsin farmers, and distribute fresh nutritious foods to underserved communities.
As of March 7, 2025, the USDA AMS has canceled the Local Food Purchase Assistance 2025 Program (LFPA25), previously slated to take effect in June 2025.
