Governor Tony Evers has announced the appointment of two individuals to the Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection Board.
Cindy Brown is returning to the board after serving as the President of Chippewa Valley Bean from 2011 – 2025 and currently serves as Chairman of the Board.
Andy Hatch was also appointed to the DATCP Board.
This is his first term on the board, having studied Dairy Science at the University of Wisconsin, where he apprenticed with Master Cheesemaker Gary Grossen.
He also owns Uplands Cheese, a dairy farm in Dodgeville, where he now lives, milks cows, and makes two award-winning cheeses.
DATCP Secretary Romanski thanked the governor for the appointments, saying he is looking forward to working with Ms. Brown and Mr. Hatch.
