The Manitowoc County Historical Society summer camps are getting ready to shake off the cobwebs as summer approaches.
The camps will take place for various age groups, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. during each summer camp date.
Early drop-off and late pick-up options are available.
Fees vary by camp, and advanced registration is required. Scholarships are available. The dates for the camps are July 9th and July 10th, both from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
There also will be a Civil War Summer Camp from August 5th and August 6th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day, beyond the pages of history books to bring local Civil War era stories to life during this 2-day camp.
The camp will consist of activities that relate to the American Civil War, both in battle and on the home front.
