
The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center is taking this weekend to give all mothers free admission to visit Farm Wisconsin.
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. today (May 10th) Lori Helke, a local author ,will be signing copies of her book “100 Things to Do in Sheboygan Before You Die”.
Another special opportunity is the Design & Bloom: Floral Bouquet Workshop, 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. This hands-on workshop will walk through the process of crafting a European hand-tied bouquet using fresh, seasonal blooms. This workshop will be guided by floral experts from the Mishicot FFA chapter and is perfect for beginners, flower experts, and flower lovers. The guides will explain the process of selecting, arranging, and tying the stems into a lush bouquet using the provided materials. The workshop is $42 for non-Farm Wisconsin members and $39 for Farm Wisconsin members.
The Wisconsin Café and Ice Cream Acres will also be open and available to enjoy this Mother’s Day weekend. The Wisconsin Café is open 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. They offer fresh, locally sourced options for both breakfast and lunch that change seasonally. In addition, there will be a special Mother’s Day brunch menu including battered cheese curds, bruschetta, candied bacon, tenderloin medallions and eggs, shrimp rice bowl, caprese chicken sandwich, traditional eggs benedict, café burger, cheese strata, blueberry French toast, and a pancake flight. If you aren’t in the mood for a sit-down meal, Farm Wisconsin also has its Ice Cream Acres parlor with 16 different flavors of fresh Cedar Crest ice cream. This weekend they will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
