With temperatures on the rise, the City of Two Rivers is getting ready for people to get out and about.
Earlier this week, the Parks and Recreation Department removed the fencing along Neshotah Beach and began the grooming process.
For right now, the crew will be smoothing out the ridge of sand that built up over the winter season, with regular beach grooming beginning closer to Memorial Day.
The Parks and Rec Department also signaled the ever-approaching summer season by firing up the splash pad in Central Park.
The splash pad will be on from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, but it won’t be shooting water all the time.
Those walking through the park simply need to push the activator button to see the water show.
