It’s a Saturday full of doubleheaders, triangulars, and other local sports matchups.
Starting on area softball diamonds, Ashwaubenon is set to host five other schools, including Mishicot, West De Pere, and Appleton East, while Chilton welcomes Howards Grove, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Wrightstown, Oconto, Bonduel, Marshal, and Southern Door.
Valders is also set to host Reedsville, Oostburg is at Sheboygan Falls/Kohler, De Pere is at Slinger, and Denmark is hosting a triangular featuring Notre Dame and Algoma.
There are three doubleheaders and a triangle on the local baseball schedule. Manitowoc Lincoln welcomes Bay Port to Municipal Field for a doubleheader while Notre Dame is at Sheboygan North, and De Pere is in Ashwaubenon, each as doubleheaders.
Mishicot is hosting a triangular featuring Algoma and Brillion, while Kiel hosts Port Washington, Sheboygan Falls is at Oostburg, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah is on the road for St. Lawrence Seminary, Green Bay Preble is at Pulaski, and West De Pere travels to St. Thomas Moore.
In girls soccer, Oostburg is set to welcome Luxemburg-Casco, Sheboygan South, and Sheboygan Falls, while Ronnali/Two Rivers is at Howards Grove, Sheboygan North is home for Appleton East, and Plymouth is at Whitefish Bay.
The lone boys tennis matchup on the calendar is Roncalli @ Howards Grove.
