
A police officer in Sheboygan has earned an award for her commitment to the community.
The Sheboygan Police Department has announced that Officer Taylor Johnson was named the winner of the 2025 Edward J. Ormsby Law and Order Award after receiving a nomination from a member of the Sheboygan American Legion.
Officer Johnson was honored for her work at the Wisconsin American Legion Second District Spring Conference held in Watertown.
The nomination and selection for the award demonstrates Johnson’s willingness to take on extra roles, including that of Field Training Officer.
It also highlights her desire to work with members of the community and her rigorous participation in community outreach events across Sheboygan.
On the award for Johnson, the Sheboygan PD said, “Please help us celebrate Officer Johnson for receiving this prestigious award. We are proud of her service and recognize the contributions of all our law enforcement officers.”
