Green Bay Police report that the body of an adult woman was recovered from the Fox River this afternoon (May 9). NBC26 says officers were called to the mouth of the river around noon today near the 100 block of Bay Beach Road and the body was removed soon after their arrival. The identity of the victim has not been released yet. Police say they are still determining the circumstances of the death but the public is not believed to be in any danger.
