
There are several local and area boys tennis and girls soccer teams slated for action today.
On the pitch, Manitowoc Lincoln will try to build a two-game win streak as they take on Sheboygan North. The Ships enter the matchup at 4-2, while the Golden Raiders are 5-1-3 and sit in second place in the FRCC.
Elsewhere, Roncalli/Two Rivers will try to build on a win earlier this week as they host New Holstein, Valders will be in Kiel to take on the Raiders, who are tied for 1st in the EWC, Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian is set to host Oostburg, Sheboygan South is at De Pere, Howards Grove is at St. Mary Catholic, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah hosts Ozaukee/Random Lake, and Plymouth is in Cedarburg.
Meanwhile, in boys tennis, Manitowoc Lincoln will host Green Bay Preble, Roncalli is on the road to battle Sheboygan Falls, Sheboygan North hosts Pulaski, Howards Grove is home for Ripon, Plymouth is at Kohler, St. Mary Catholic will defend their home court against Kewaskum, Green Bay Southwest is at De Pere, and Notre Dame is invading Ashwaubenon.
It will also be a busy day at Autumn Ridge Golf Course, as a total of 18 high school teams will be hitting the course.
Manitowoc Lincoln is playing host at the tournament, which will also feature Valders, Sheboygan North and South, Chilton, De Pere, Bay Port, Ashwaubenon, Notre Dame, Pulaski, and New Holstein, just to name a few.
Meanwhile, Mishicot and Two Rivers golfers will be at Fox Hills in Mishicot for a dual meet. Speaking of Two Rivers, the track team is hosting Manitowoc Lincoln, Manitowoc Lutheran, Valders, Denmark, Kewaunee, Little Chute, and Luxemburg-Casco.
