A student teacher in Menasha is facing sexual misconduct charges.
The Menasha Police Department, in conjunction with the Menasha Joint School District, received information on Tuesday (May 6th) regarding allegations of inappropriate conduct between a student and an unknown 23-year-old student teacher.
Police have since recommended charges, including sexual misconduct by a school staff person or volunteer.
The case is investigated with the assistance and cooperation of the school district and the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Police Department.
No other details are being released, but the Menasha Police Department says they are committed to working closely with the school district and other community partners to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
