The Manitowoc Lutheran baseball team took advantage of some inaccurate pitching to cruise by Green Bay NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy 10-0.
In total, the Lancers took nine walks and only struck out 3 times in the win.
Will Franzen led the offense with a bases-clearing double on his lone hit of the day, while Logan Haupt notched one hit and two RBI.
Wesley Hecker and Josiah Martin tallied the only other hits for the Lancers on the day, while Joel Voigt pitched all five innings, striking out four batters and allowing only two hits.
With the win, the Lancers improved to 6-5 overall and 3-2 in the Big East North, good for second place.
They will be back in action today as they host Mishicot in a rematch from Monday night.
