The first full week of May comes with some good news at the pumps in the area.
According to the AAA Gas Prices website, Manitowoc County saw the biggest change in gas prices since last week, dropping eight cents to an average of $2.89 per gallon.
Sheboygan County reported a one-cent dip to $2.95, while Calumet County is down six cents to $2.91.
There was a three-cent per gallon drop in Outagamie County, where the average now sits at $2.86, while Brown County’s average is down six cents to $2.91.
Motorists in Kewaunee County are paying two cents less per gallon with an average of $2.94, and Door County dropped back below the $3.00 threshold with a three-cent dip to $2.89 per gallon.
The state average followed a similar trend, dropping four cents to $2.93, while the national average is down three cents to $3.15 per gallon.
