
Police in Manitowoc are asking for the public’s help in locating a dog owner.
The Manitowoc Police Department has said that a biting incident occurred in the 300 block of Reed Avenue on the south side of the road yesterday (May 6th) at approximately 7:00 p.m.
The victim has stated that a suspect dog attacked and bit their smaller dog, causing injuries.
The victim and their injured dog then returned to their residence while the suspect and the suspect dog continued walking along Reed Avenue.
The dog in question has been described as a black and brown German Shepherd mix with a vaccination and license status that remains unknown at this time.
Police are asking anyone who lives in the area to check security or doorbell camera footage of the incident to help identify the dog and its owner.
