
A woman was arrested in Green Bay after a welfare check.
The Green Bay Police Department says the 36-year-old woman was taken into custody because of a disturbance at a residence in the 600 block of Pine Street just before 5:15 pm yesterday (May 6th).
Witnesses reported that a woman was yelling and throwing items from an apartment window.
During the incident, carbon monoxide detectors were activated.
Wisconsin Public Service temporarily shut off the gas to the apartment building as a precaution, and residents were evacuated.
The Green Bay SWAT Team was called in as well, but the 36-year-old suspect surrendered peacefully.
Green Bay Police are not releasing any more details at this time, but are asking anyone who might have seen something related to the case to call 920-448-3200.
