Renovations continue to be made on the concessions stand in Chilton.
The City’s Facebook page explains that the project to renovate the VFW Concessions area began in 2024, and a lot of work has been done to get it in working order for the Summer in the Park Band Series.
New concrete was installed around the building in the fall last year to aid with the flow and mobility.
The stand also has a new metal roof and eight new picnic tables.
Benches made of recycled material were also added after the VFW collected plastics and turned them into furniture.
The city finishes its post by calling the upgrades a great addition to the community, as they get ready to bring back the summer band concerts.
