Two streets in downtown Manitowoc will be closed for a short time this week.
Engineering Division Manager Greg Minikel tells SeehaferNews.com that crews will be conducting routine inspections on the two lift bridges over the Manitowoc River on Wednesday (May 7th) and Thursday (May 8th), which will require the bridges to be closed.
The first inspection takes place on 8th Street from 7:30 a.m. to noon on Wednesday morning, instigating the closing of 8th Street between Quay Street and Maritime Drive.
During the same time frame on Thursday, 10th Street will be closed, also between Quay Street and Maritime Drive.
