The Wisconsin Department of Justice is investigating a deadly police shooting in Racine.
Authorities say officers attempted to arrest a wanted man late Sunday, but the suspect fled by car, crashed, and emerged with a firearm.
A Racine officer then shot him, hitting him once.
Despite medical efforts, the suspect died at the scene.
The officer is now on administrative leave during the ongoing investigation.
