A blistering fast start helped push the Kiel girls soccer team past Wrightstown on the road Monday night (May 5th).
Taavi Saeger was able to find the back of the net just 37 seconds into the matchup, thanks to an assist from Deanna Schwaller, Saeger would add two more to complete the hat trick, and Bella Schrage also tickled the twine to give the Raiders a 4-1 win.
Head coach Mike Pritchard called it a “beautiful day for soccer and we had the opportunity to play everyone on the pitch.”
With the win, the Raiders improve to 8-3 and extend their winning streak to five.
Up next will be the first of a three-game home stand where Kiel will face Sheboygan Falls with first place in the EWC on the line.
Both squads are 3-0 in conference matchups as they approach the final quarter of the season.
