
There are two meetings scheduled for today (May 6th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Room Tax Commission will be in the Council Chambers at 4:30 p.m., where they will enter a closed session to discuss locations for the long-term visitor center and office.
They will also hold negotiations with the Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau. Then, at 5:30 p.m., the Finance Committee will take over the Chambers, where they will give the public time to comment.
After getting the 1st Quarter Budget Exception, Investment, Internal Controls, and Claims Reports, the group will review requests to apply for Brownfield and Thriving Communities Grants.
They will also enter a closed session to review the liquor license applications for two individuals.
