
The victim of a fatal motorcycle crash in Ashwaubenon has been identified.
The Ashwaubenon Department of Public Safety has notified the public that 18-year-old Connor J Carlson of De Pere was killed in the crash that took place on South Ashland Avenue and Mike McCarthy Way on April 26th.
They have also stated that the investigation into the fatal crash remains ongoing and has since been turned over to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.
Just before 11:30 p.m. the night of April 26th, a motorcycle driven by the 18-year-old was traveling south on Ashland Avenue when it collided with a sedan that was turning west onto Mike McCarthy Way from northbound Ashland.
As a result of the collision, Carlson was ejected from his motorcycle.
Upon the arrival of EMS crews, he was transported to a local hospital, where he would later be pronounced dead.
The driver of the sedan, an 84-year-old Ashwaubenon woman, was seriously injured but with non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, it is still unknown if speed or alcohol played a factor in the fatal crash.
